William Calvin Jones

William “Billy” Jones, 68 of Rosebud, died Sunday, December 1, 2024 at his residence. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in St. Ann Catholic Church in Rosebud. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rosebud.

Mr. Jones was born on August 24, 1956 in Tennessee. He graduated from Rosebud-Lott High School in 1974. He married Angelita Portillo on August 24, 1980. He worked for Don Ringler Chevrolet and O’Reilly Auto Parts in Temple and for Falls Farm and Auto in Lott. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Rosebud.

He is survived by his wife, Angelita Jones of Rosebud, one son, James Jones of Rosebud, four daughters, Vanessa Moreno of Chilton, Michelle Jones of San Antonio, Patricia Jones of Taylor and Kylee Mclain of Rosebud, one sister, Diane Moore of Perry, 12 grandchlldren and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.
