William Stanley Allen Jr., was born on October 4, 1947 in Marion, Indiana to William and ethel Allen.
Stan went to be with his Lord on July 2, 2024 with his wife Christine at his side.
Stan served his nation in the U.S. Army. He was a teacher and a farmer in Indiana before he moved to Texas in 1996. He also taught school in Marlin until he retired. He was an avid hunter and was a skeet instructor for the McLennan County 4-H. He had a way with words. He wrote for Duck Junkies, an online magazine. He wrote children’s books titled “Watch the Time”, “Guns and their Uses”, and “Lets break some clay”. He was writing a novel “The Crimson Amulet” at the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife Christine, brother Steve of Groesbeck, son Jeffrey and wife Kelly from Wisconsin, and two nieces Amanda and Elizabeth.
Stans final wish was to have his ashes spread on the Texas Coast at Rockport.
