Vernon Engelholm, 71, of Belton, died Sunday, June 18, 2017, at a Temple Hospital. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Salem Lutheran Church near Rosebud. Rev. Terry Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in Barclay Cemetery.
Mr. Engelholm was born December 14, 1945 in Rosebud to Arthur and Katherine Kasner Engelholm. He graduated from Rosebud High School in 1964. He retired from Wilson Art in Temple and was presently employed at Rosebud Feed and Grain. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Roy Lee Engelholm.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Engelholm of Belton
Two Daughters: Cristen Tamez and husband Pete of Rosebud and Alicia Fields and husband Kyle of Clifton
Step-son: Kevin Brown and wife Janie of Belton and step daughter, Laurie Mills and husband David of Temple
He is also survived by a brother Conrad Engelholm of Corsicana and sister, Elnora Schwake of Robinson and by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church.
Visiation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
