Shirley Smith Harrison

Shirley Smith Harrison, 86, of Bartlett, TN, formerly of Cameron, TX, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021, in a Bartlett hospital. She will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron. A memorial service for Mrs. Harrison will be held at the Oak Hill Pavilion on June 3, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., with Dene Johnson officiating.

Shirley was born January 21, 1935, in Cameron, TX, to Joe Simmie and Frances Lorraine (Pope) Smith. She was a 1953 graduate of C. H. Yoe High School, and attended Intermountain Bible College in Grand Junction, CO. She married Joe B. Harrison on October 28, 1953. She was active in the Bartlett Senior Center. Shirley was a member of Crestview Christian Church in Memphis, TN.

Survivors include:

2)Daughters, Janet Johnson and husband, Dene, of Rifle, CO, and Donna Bishop and husband, Carl, of Bartlett, TN.

2)Half-brothers, Bill Smith of Plano and Shawn Smith of Arkansas.

1)Half-sister, Dayna Jolene Smith of Arizona.

Also surviving are six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
