Robert A. Dach, 75, of Rosebud, died Thursday, August 2, 2018, in a Temple Hospital. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Cyclone. Rev. Darrell Kostiha officiating. Burial will follow in Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.

Mr. Dach was born October 4, 1942 in Eddy to Joseph and Regina Raabe Dach. He grew up in Rosebud and attended school in Westphalia. He married Donna Jean Rankin on October 17, 1963. They moved to Temple and she preceded him in death on October 31, 2005. He married Lillian Hanusch on August 26, 2006 and moved to Rosebud. He worked for Wilson Art in Temple for 37 years. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council #3444 in Temple. He enjoyed dancing, polka music, dominos and gardening.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, Three brothers, Frank Dach, Herman Dach, Edward Dach, and one sister, Josephine Matula, two stepsons, Phil Hanusch and Marcus Hanusch, and step daughter in law, Marilyn Hanusch.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Dach of Rosebud, one son, Shawn Dach and wife Lisa of Westphalia, one daughter, Michelle Kostroun and husband Kenneth of Marak, one step son, Craig Hanusch and wife Sandi of Lake Jackson, step daughter in law, Laura Hanusch of Cypress, one brother, Fred Dach and wife Martha of Temple, and one sister, Alice Stojanik of Cyclone, five grandchildren, Jakob Kostroun and wife Kobi, Noah Kostroun, Kacey Dach, Lane Dach, and Maddie Dach, eight step grandchildren, Christi Knight and husband Wade, Ericka Hanusch, Caitlyn Hanusch, Stephanie Hanusch and husband Casey, Dustin Hanusch, Kyle Hanusch, Cody Hanusch, Kayli Hanusch, Brent Dove and wife Susan, and Michael Dove and wife Angie and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Cyclone or Holy Trinity Catholic High School in Temple.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, with a Rosary at 5:00 p.m. at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
