Nancy Sims

Nancy Rae Sims, 60, of Rosebud, died Friday February 5th, 2021, at a Pasadena TX Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 200 p.m. Sunday March 21 ^st at the Powers Chapel Cemetery. Family and Friends are welcome to come and join us.

Nancy was born August 12 ^th 1960 in Rosebud Texas to Robert and Joyce Sims. She grew up in Rosebud and was a resident at Bremond Nursing and Rehab Center. Nancy was a lifelong member of New Salem Baptist Church. Nancy truly lived life to the fullest. Her smile is one to never be forgotten, so very precious was her laughter, will never be forgotten. Nancy was the President of the Bremond Nursing and Rehab Residents council and truly enjoyed assisting Cassie with activities for the residents. Nancy loved her Sister and brothers, nieces and nephews and enjoyed their company.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Robert Sims, her Mother, Joyce Sims and her great nephew Kristopher Brent Pruett.

She is survived by her sister Iris Sims of Marlin, 2 brothers, Bobby Sims of Rosebud and Billy Sims of Mart TX. Niece Lisa Pruitt and her son Taytr of Rosebud, Tracy Harris and husband Thomas and children of Mart, Jennifer Sutton and Phillip and children of Corpus Christi and Chana Gladding and husband Aaron and children of Stanton, Michigan. Nephews, Brent Pruett of Marlin and his daughter Kelce Andrews of Kentucky, Dusten Sims and wife Crystal and children , Waylon Sims, Robby Sims and wife Melissa and children, Harley Sims and wife Ashley and children, Matthew Sims and wife Christina and children, of Rosebud. Nancy had many great nieces and nephews.

The LOVE Nancy had for her family and friends was AMAZING and we will all miss that sweet voice.
