Marvin Cunningham, 67, of Rosebud, died Thursday, March 12, 2020, at his residence. Services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Rev. Don Fulton and Rev. Lee Scott will officiate. Burial will follow in Powers Chapel  Cemetery near Rosebud.

Mr. Cunningham was born March 5, 1953 in Rosebud to Marvin Elton and Vera Mae Long  Cunningham. He graduated from Rosebud High School in 1971. He worked for TU Electric, Jason’s Water Systems, J.M. Electronics, and Zips Drive  Inn. He  married Diane  Jones on March 20, 1999.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Cunningham and Gary Wayne Cunningham and two sisters, Kathy Tepe and Carol Kisby.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Cunningham of Rosebud, two sons, Jeff Cunningham and wife Amanda of Blessing, and Shane Hughes and wife Renee of Martinez, Georgia, two daughters, Tammy Boone and husband Coy of Edna and Kelly Hughes of Rosebud, three brothers, Larry Cunningham and wife Jane of Old Ocean, Mike Cunningham and wife Rhonda of Speegleville, and Darryl Cunningham and wife Tina of Clifton, three sisters, Vickie Carter and husband Tommy of Tyler, Pat Maldonado of Redondo Beach, California, and Barbara McCabe of Parker, Colorado, his step-father, Curtis Miller of Rosebud,  eleven grandchildren, Rachel Downes and husband Joshua, Ryan Reyes, Lexi Hughes, Alyssa Reyes, Franklin Reeder, Jacob Reyes, Damien Easter, Jakson Hughes, Gauge Easter, Zander Cunningham, and Brooklyn Gorman.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
