Joe Mack Tabor

Joe Mack Tabor, 76, of Cameron, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023, in a Temple hospital. A memorial service for Mr. Tabor will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at the Christian Community Church in Pettibone.

Mr. Tabor was born December 27, 1946, in Brownwood, TX, to Jesse James Tabor and Ida Pearl (Lakey) Tabor. He was an automotive mechanic before beefore retiring. He enjoyed fishing and was said to be “the best fisherman in Milam County”.

Survivors include:

Wife: Jo Ann Tabor of Cameron

2)Daughters: Amy Lynn Young of Rockdale and Charlotte Michelle Tabor of Cameron.

Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Preceding him in death were his parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
