Jimmie Lee (Mickey) Jackson, 87, of Cedar Springs, died Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in a Cameron Nursing Center. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Rev. Don Fulton will officiate. Burial will follow in Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Rosebud on November 18, 1935 to James and Florence Schedule Fleming. She lived all of her life in the Cedar Springs Community. She married Claud Jackson on September 30, 1960. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and caregiver to all. She and her husband owned Jackson Service Station and Jackson Farm and Ranch. She was a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
She is survived by one son, James Dale Jackson and wife Elizabeth of Cedar Springs, one daughter, Janice McCauley and husband Gary of Cedar Springs, six grandchildren, Chase McCauley, Matthew Jackson, Cagney McCauley, Megan DeLaCruz, Mallory Brewer, and Cole McCauley, three great grandchildren, Finn DeLaCruz, James Brewer, and Salem DeLaCruz, and a cousin, Rhonda Coker.
Memorials may be made to Powers Chapel Cemetery Association or to Cedar Springs Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
