Hazel Pottinger, 96, of Lott, died Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in a Temple hospital. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Rev. Don Fulton will officiate. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery in Lott. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pottinger was born October 12, 1925 in Lott to R.V. and Leone Hudgens Tindle. She worked as a bank teller at the Lott State Bank in Lott for many years. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post # 6117 in Westphalia and the Waco Gem and Mineral Club. She was married to Joseph E. Bonomi and Bill Pottinger.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, two sons, Larry Bonomi and Jimmy Bonomi, four brothers, Clifford Tindle, Sidney Tindle, Alex Tindle, Ralph Tindle, and one sister, Margaret Tindle Pomerlow.
She is survived by one grandson, Thomas Bonomi, two great-grandchildren, Damon Bonomi and Liam Bonomi, two step-daughters, Carrie Beth Pottinger and Kathy Pottinger Smiley, two step-granddaughters, Stacey Chesterman, and Storey Smiley Snyder, one daughter in law, Mary Bonomi Stuart, three nephews, Robert Tindle, Wayne Pomerlow, Frank Tindle, four nieces, Barbara Sipes, Bonnie Repp, Betty Jackson, and Lois Zimmerman.
