Harry Benney Pratt Jr.

Harry Benney Pratt Jr. 83, of Rosebud, died Sunday April 13, 2025 at his residence. Services will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Ann Catholic Church in Rosebud. Rev. Rito Davila will officiate. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Mission Park South Cemetery in San Antonio.

Mr. Pratt was born on September 3, 1941 in San Antonio to Harry Benney and Bessie Catherine Cade Pratt Sr. He graduated from Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio and earned a Master’s Degree in Theology from St. Thomas University in Houston. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a Material Research Engineer for Smith International in Houston. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Rosebud and the Knights of Columbus.

He was family oriented. He also involved himself with the youth activities in all of the church’s that he attended.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Cade Pratt.

He is survived by Mary Pratt, two sons, Charlton Pratt and wife Carmen of Lott and Christopher Pratt and wife Toni of Spring Hill, Tennessee, one brother, George Miller Pratt and wife Suzane of Georgetown, four grandchildren, Madison Kate Pratt, Joselyn Pratt, Camilla Pratt, and Leilana Pratt, one nephew, Miller Pratt. Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud is in charge of arrangements.
