Grace Hoelscher, 92, of Westphalia, died Friday, December 21, 2018, at a Temple Nursing Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday in the Church of the Visitation in Westphalia. Monsignor Elmer Holtman officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Westphalia.
Mrs. Hoelscher was born May 17, 1926 in Westphalia to Albert and Josephine Witcher Holtman. She lived in Westphalia all of her life. She graduated from Lott High School and married Ray J Hoelscher on June 18, 1947. She worked at the Western Fair in Lott. She was a member of the Church of the Visitation in Westphalia, where she was a member of the Altar Society and taught religious education for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and two sons, John Hoelscher and Glen Hoelscher.
She is survived by four sons, Michael Hoelscher of Temple, Donnie Hoelscher and wife Cindy of Westphalia, Wayne Hoelscher and wife Celestia of Temple and Randy Hoelscher and wife Janet of Academy, four daughters, Barbara O’Gorman and husband Gene of Little Elm, Kay Rabroker and husband Raymond of Westphalia, Bernadette Gerngross and husband Mark of Rosebud, and Loretta Hoelscher of Fort Worth, one brother, Monsignor Elmer Holtman of Burnet, three sisters, Joyce Greger of Westphalia, Betty Ann Kleypas of Temple, and Evelyn Hoelscher of Waco, 12 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
