Doris Fay Eisfeldt

Doris Fay Eisfeldt passed away on March 25, 2025, in Temple, Texas, at the age of 75. Born on November 19, 1949, in Beaumont, Texas to Ollie and Gladys (Langston) White. She resided in Cameron, Texas for many years.

Doris devoted much of her life to her family and Christ. Together with her husband, Robert Eisfeldt, she worked at Eisfeldt Upholstery, a family-owned business that served the community up until their retirement.

Those who knew Doris will remember her as a talented seamstress and quilter. Her prowess extended beyond her crafting, as she was recognized as the reigning champion of the cobbler competition in the annual Dewberry Festival and she will also be remembered for her peanut brittle.

Doris is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert Eisfeldt, of Cameron, TX; her son, Robert Stephen Eisfeldt (Shantel), of Cameron, TX; and her daughter, Melinda Parish, of Cameron, TX. She also leaves behind her brothers, Robert Lee White (Lee), of Broadus, TX, and Horace Jay White (Kathy), of Bonham, TX. In addition to her immediate family, Doris is remembered fondly by her three grandchildren Tiffany Rose Williams (Isaac), Ian Zachary Parish, and Robert Christopher Parish and one great-granddaughter Evelyn Rose Williams, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and was the longtime caregiver to Betty Jo Durnie.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: brothers Ted, Eugene, Marion, and Noris White, and sisters Sarah Rebecca Taylor, Leona Bell Dinscore, and Catherine Christine Lackey. Their memories remain cherished in the hearts of those who love Doris.

Visitation will be held on March 31, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Green-Patterson Funeral Home located at 2701 N Travis Ave, Cameron, TX 76520. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home with Robert Lee White officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron. Doris Fay Eisfeldt will be remembered not only for her talents and achievements but also for the love and kindness she shared with family and friends throughout her life.
