Claud Dale Jackson, 89, of Cedar Springs, died Monday, August 29, 2022, at a Temple Hospital. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Rev. Don Fulton and Rev. Rick Fendley will officiate. Burial will follow in Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud.
Mr. Jackson was born September 11, 1932 in Rosebud to Claud Dunbar and Edna Williams Jackson. He lived all his life in the Cedar Springs area. He served in the U.S. Army. He married Mickey Fleming on September 30, 1960. He was the owner of Jackson Service Station in Rosebud and Jackson Farm and Ranch in Cedar Springs. He served on the Board of Directors of Powers Chapel Cemetery Association. He was a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mickey Jackson of Cedar Springs, one son, James Dale Jackson and wife Elizabeth of Cedar Springs, one daughter, Janice McCauley and husband Gary of Cedar Springs, six grandchildren, Chase McCauley, Matthew Jackson, Cagney McCauley, Megan DeLaCruz, Mallory Brewer, and Cole McCauley, three great grandchildren, Finn DeLaCruz, James Brewer, and Salem DeLaCruz.
Memorials may be made to Powers Chapel Cemetery Association or to Cedar Springs Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
