Annita Tindle, 78, of Lott, passed away on June 29, 2021, at a Temple hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Clover Hill Cemetery in Lott. Rev. Stephen James and Robert Stem will officiate. The Lott Police Department will be assisting.
Annita was born August 18, 1942 in Lott, Texas to Charlie and Lena B. Davis Tindle. She attended school in Lott and graduated in 1960. After graduation, she had several adventures in the insurance business before settling in Fort Worth working for Alcon Laboratories where she retired as a paralegal. After retirement, she moved back to her hometown of Lott where she served as mayor for 12 years before having to retire again due to health reasons.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Charlene Hudgens.
Survivors include her brothers, Bo Tindle and wife Imagene and Butch Tindle and wife Sissy, both of Lott, sisters, Joyce Collier of Lott and Peggy Shrum of Lubbock, numerous nieces and nephews and many other family members.
Annita will always be remembered as the fun-loving life of the party who always put others first and loved her family and friends fiercely. She loved her nieces and nephews as her own and was always up to play games and be one of the kids.

Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud is in charge of arrangements.
