W. H. Wreyford

Mr. W. H. “Tex” Wreyford, 82,of Belton, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 in a Cameron Hospital. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date with burial to be in the North Belton Cemetery in Belton.

Mr. Wreyford was born May 21, 1934 in Emerson, AR to William Joseph and Evelena Love Wreyford. He attended school in Springhill, LA. He married Marcella Malone in Greenville, MS on July 21, 1956. She survives. He was a member of the Christian Tabernacle Church in Belton, TX. He worked in the oil field and construction industry.

Also surviving is one step-daughter, Brenda Tong Simek and husband, Jon of Temple, one step-grandson, Jason Green of Zabcikville, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Wreyford was preceded in death by brothers Woodrow, Clarence, Earl and Otha Lee; and sisters, Evelyn Gulley, Myrtle Powers and Carrie Colvin.
