Hazel Kunze, 99, of Marble Falls, formerly of Lott, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 in a Round Rock Hospital. Graveside services will be held at Noon Saturday in Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud. Rev. John Howard Isom officiating.
Mrs. Kunze was born November 14, 1915 in Eddy to Joseph and Madgie Hamlin Isom. She married Oswald T. “Dick” Kunze on December 12, 1934. She lived in Houston and Falls County most of her life. She worked at the Western Fair in Lott and at the Rosebud Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, One son, Charles Nolan Kunze, and one sister, Melba “Monk” Rountree.
She is survived by one son, Curtis T. Kunze and wife Modina of Lometa
Two daughters, Helen DeLancey and husband Charlie of Marble Falls, and Anita Unberhagen and husband Sam of Academy
One Brother: Howard T. “Jake” Isom of Baytown
One Sister: Bernice Weaver of Pasadena
2 Half Sisters: Carol Isom and Sharon Dempsy both of Houston
11 Grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home.
