Deloise "Bob" Hyde

Deloise “Bob” Hyde, 85, of Baileyville, died Monday, August 3, 2015 at his residence. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Rosebud. Rev. Jody Hickman and Rev. Don Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud.
Mr. Hyde was born June 5, 1930 near Rosebud to Virgil and Inez White Hyde. He grew up in the Rosebud area and moved to Houston where he worked as a Longshoreman in the Port of Houston. He married Mary Mundy on March 12, 1955. He retired in 1985 and moved to the community of Baileyville. He was preceded in death by his wife on August 14, 2000. On July 23, 2001, he married Nettie Mundy Preuett. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Rosebud where he served as deacon. He assisted his wife in leading the Operation Christmas Child Organization in Rosebud for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Nettie Hyde of Rosebud

One step daughter: Bonita Armour and husband Larry of Colfax, LA
One step grandson: Brett Preuett of West Monroe, LA

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
