Wayne Reynolds, 76, of Temple, died Monday, March 23, 2015, at his residence. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Temple. Rev. Dana Wilhelmsen officiating. Burial will follow in Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.
Mr. Reynolds was born September 1, 1938 in Center, Texas to Lawrence William and Beatrice Martin Reynolds. He served in the Texas National Guard and married Shirley Henke on September 28, 1957. He had lived in the Temple area since 1967. He worked for Woolworth-Woolco for 30 years and managed both stores in Temple. He then worked for 19 years as Marketing Director for Strasburger Enterprises prior to his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife on October 18, 1985. On May 28, 1988 he married Bernardine Greger. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Shirley Lynn Meyer.
He is survived by his wife, Bernardine Reynolds of Temple
Two sons, Gary Reynolds and wife Tina and Greg Reynolds and wife Teresa both of Temple
Five daughters, Cathy Baker and husband Bill of Cypress, Cindy King and Brenda Wilkerson both of Temple, Alissa Orozco and husband Stephen of Round Rock, and Adria Dixon and husband James of Iola
Three sisters, Helen Steele of Dallas, Marguerite Plummer of Shreveport, LA, and Norma Merzbacher of Naples, FL
16 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
