Charles R. Page, 85, of College Station, died Sunday, June 8, 2014 in an Arlington Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in Woodland Cemetery in Rosebud. Rev. Don Fulton officiating.
Mr. Page was born August 11, 1928 in Houston to Homer and Viola Griffin Page. He grew up in the Powers Chapel community near Rosebud and served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. He served his country in World War II, Korea, and in the Marshall Islands. He owned and operated a gas station in Bryan for many years and then worked as a tile setter prior to his retirement.
He is survived by one niece: Lisa McGaugh and husband Paul of Arlington
One Great Niece, Danielle Leathers and One Great Nephew, Matthew Richter both of Arlington.
One Great Great Niece, Leah Leathers of Arlington and a step aunt, Estelle Wooten of Waco.
Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud is in charge of arrangements.
