Walter Hailey Sudduth Jr.

Walter Hailey Sudduth Jr., 59, of Lott, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at his residence. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Rev. Bill Perdue and Rev. Stephen James officiating. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery in Lott.
Mr. Sudduth was born April 8, 1955 in Rosebud to Walter Hailey and Betty Landrum Sudduth Sr. He grew up in Lott and graduated from Rosebud-Lott High School in 1973. He worked as a crew chief for the Santa Fe Railroad and was a member of First Baptist Church in Lott. He currently served as a member of the Lott City Council.
He is survived by two sons: Chip Sudduth and wife Kami of Hewitt and Cody Screws of Bremond.
One daughter: Kristen Sudduth of Houston
One Brother: Hailey Sudduth and wife Tammie of Robinson
Two sisters: Cynthia Montgomery and husband Monty of Golinda and Susan LaFountain of Lott
Grandchildren include Kammie Sudduth, Collin Sudduth, Kaylee Long, and Jake Sudduth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Cap Sudduth. Memorials may be made to Clover Hill Cemetery, P.O.Box 326, Lott, TX 76656.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Roy Lynn Sehon, Chase Evans, Dennis Montgomery, David Stimmel, Butch Tindle, Mike Cunningham, Ryan Wilberg, and Richard Halbert.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
