Willie Fred Glaser

Funeral Services for Mr. Willie Fred Glaser, 100, of Cameron, formerly of Rosebud and Buckholts, were held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Gary Kleypas officiating. Burial followed at Woodland Cemetery in Rosebud. Mr. Glaser died on Monday in a Cameron nursing center.

Mr. Glaser was born Nov. 5, 1913 in Cameron, Texas to Fritz and Annie (Siebert) Glaser. He was a member of both Salem Lutheran Church and Hope Lutheran Church for many years and was a retired farmer and rancher. Mr. Glaser served on the Milam County School Board and Buckholts I.S.D. School Board, in which he was past president. He loved kids and was a grandpa to everyone. He enjoyed following all the family athletic events, was an avid baseball fan and player, an avid hunter and loved playing bingo and dominoes.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Louise, second wife Frieda, two brothers and three sisters.

Step-Son: Joe Lee Marek & wife Nancy of Rosebud

Step-Daughter: Jo Ann Pemberton & husband Stanton of Temple

Brother: Johnny Glaser of Temple

Grandchildren: Julie Glaser Loth & husband Tom, Steven Glaser & wife Rachel, Allyson Glaser Abbott & husband Chris, Deborah Glaser Bedrich & husband Joseph, Darrell Glaser & wife Shannon, Bob Pemberton & wife Becky, Jayne Pemberton Thorp, Kimberly Marek and Steven Marek

Great-Grandchildren: Jason Bedrich, Lauren Bedrich, Trenton Glaser, Troy Glaser, Trevor Glaser, Travis Glaser, Pearce Loth, Ross Loth, Stryker Sulak, Brittany Sulak, Emma Grace Glaser, Harley Jo Sulak, Bria Glaser, Greta Glaser, Caroline Abbott, Callen Abbott, Ella Pemberton, Harris Pemberton and Beckett Thorp

Visitation was held on Wednesday from 5-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Darrell Glaser, Steven Glaser, Bob Pemberton, Steven Marek, Joseph Bedrich, Tom Loth, Chris Abbott, and Pearce Loth.
