Eldridge Russell "Red" Bell



Funeral services for Mr. Eldridge Russell “Red” Bell, 91, of
Port Saint Lucie, Florida, and formerly, of Cameron, Texas, will be held at
11:30 A M Saturday at the Little River Baptist Church with Reverend Tommy
Reynolds officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Little
River Cemetery. Mr. Bell died Saturday, July 6, 2013, in a Fort Pierce, Florida
hospital.

Mr. Bell was born May 21, 1922, to William Jesse and Dora
Lee (Russell) Bell, in Cameron, Texas and was the retired owner and operator of his appliance
repair business in Queens, New York, where he lived and worked prior to moving
to Florida. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus, and an usher at Saint
Boniface Catholic Church for many years. He was a professional boxer during the
1940’s after placing in the Golden Gloves tournament.

Mr. Bell is survived by his wife of 66 years, Louise Rozzo
Bell of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, Son, William Bell of Stuart, Florida,
Daughter, Antoinette Bell Witt, of Merrick, New Jersey, Son, Christopher
Russell Bell, of Plainfield, New Jersey, Son David Bell, of Port Saint Lucie,
Florida, and Sisters, Lillian Provost and Ceceilia Figueira, both of Atlanta,
Georgia, 18 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Saturday morning from 8-11 a.m. at
Green-Patterson Funeral Home.
