J.K. "Jake" Elliott

Funeral Services for Mr. J.K. “Jake” Elliott, 90, of Cameron, were held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home with Rev. David Walker officiating.  Mr. Elliott died on January 2, 2013 in a Cameron hospital.

Mr. Elliott was born on March 20, 1922 in Cameron, Texas to Nathan and Dena (Ayers) Elliott.  He was a member of First Baptist Church in Cameron, a life member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion.  Mr. Elliott was an Army Air Force Veteran and served in World War II.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Marvin “Jack” Elliott and Ernest “Spec” Elliott and sister, Pansy Tucker.

Survivors:

Wife: Eloise Elliott of Cameron

Sons: Jerrell Elliott of Cameron, William Elliott of Lake Livingston and Michael Elliott of Cameron

Daughter: Juenell Eastman of Loranger, LA

Sisters: Patsy Price of Cameron and Willie B. Mullinax of Cameron
