Alice Fabianke, 84, of Temple, formerly of Rosebud, died Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at her residence. Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in Salem Lutheran Church near Barclay. Rev. Terry Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Lutheran Cemetery.
Mrs. Fabianke was born October 7, 1928 in Ratibar to Ernest and Sophie Eixman Goldman. She lived in the Rosebud area most of her life and moved to Temple in 2009. She married William Fabianke on April 13, 1947. She worked for Parcus Grocery in Rosebud for many years and was a member of Salem Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband on May 14, 2008.
She is survived by one son: Gaylon Fabianke and wife Elizabeth of Troy
One Daughter: Deborah Willard and husband Dana of Temple
One Sister: Hilda Mikeska of Temple
Five Grandchildren: Christina Lee and husband Bryan of Temple, Staff SGT. U.S. Air Force Timothy Watson of Tampa, FL, Sarah Eben of Welcome, Garrick Fabianke of Troy, and Luke Morgan of Temple
One Great Grandchild: Caleb Bradshaw of Temple
Memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church.
Visitation was held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
