Mary Hazlewood

Mary Bruggman Hazlewood, 89, of Lott, died Thursday, June 7, 2012 in a Marlin Nursing Home. Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Chaplain Barry Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Phillips Cemetery in Travis.
Mrs. Hazlewood was born August 8, 1922 in Travis to Fritz and Floy Gynn Bruggman. She lived in Falls County all of her life. She graduated from Rosebud High School in 1940 and married J.B. Hazlewood in 1942. She received her LVN certification from Kings Daughters Hospital and worked at the Rosebud Hospital.She was a member of Little Deer Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, Sister Ruth Wilhite, brother Alan Bruggman and numerous relatives and friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Diann Grohoske and husband Roy of Lott,
One Sister: Doris Schwake of Temple
One Step Brother: Glen Raabe of Holland
Two grandsons: Calvin and David Grohoske
Great Grandchildren: Audrey and Damon and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
