Lorene Lee Harris, 97, of Rosebud, entered into rest on Monday, April 16, 2012 at a Temple Hospital. Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in Woodland Cemetery in Rosebud. Rev. Don Fulton officiating.
Mrs. Harris was born October 22, 1914 in Bowie, TX to John Robert and Jewel Leach Lee. She married the love of her life, Raymond Oliver Harris on April 28, 1945 in Dallas, TX. She graduated from the Dallas School of Beauty in 1938 and received her license in 1939. She worked in salons in Dallas before returning to Rosebud where she eventually had her own beauty shop before retiring in 1994 at the age of 80. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Rosebud.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and sisters, Irene Lee Lewis and Ruth Lee McIntosh.
The family she loved and left behind include her two daughters and son in laws, Nancy and Jack Lockridge of Alexandria, VA and Becky and Larry Meacham of Rosebud. Other family members include 4 grandchildren whom she adored, Amanda Schumann and husband Jeff, Jill Lockridge, Mickey Meacham and wife Melinda, Matthew Meacham. Great Grandchildren, Luke and Katy Meacham and Ali Schumann. She is also survived by a beloved niece, nephews, and wonderful friends.
Lorene devoted her entire life to her family and will be forever remembered for her laughter and love of life. May she rest in peace in the company of her beloveds.

Visitation was held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funerl Home.
