Anna Posvar

Anna Posvar, 90, of Cyclone, died Monday, April 9, 2012 in a Temple Nursing Center. Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Cyclone. Rev. Walter Matus officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Mrs. Posvar was born April 15, 1921 in Westphalia to Henry and Matilda Geistman Wilde. She lived in the Cyclone area most of her life. She married Alvin Posvar on October 2, 1940. She was a homemaker and was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the altar society.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two grandchildren, Alan Posvar and Denise Posvar.
She is survived by two sons: Larry Posvar and wife Nancy of Meeks, and Melvin Posvar of Ben Arnold
One Daughter: Marian Carpenter and husband Larry of Morgans Point.
One Sister: Leona Rabroker of Zabcikville
5 Grandchildren 5 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter.
Rosary was recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
