William Gayle Gann

Funeral Services for Mr. William Gayle Gann, 95, of Cameron, were held on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home with Evangelist Malcolm Kniffen officiating. Burial followed at Marlow Cemetery in Cameron. Mr. Gann passed away on March 29, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Gann was born Dec. 13, 1916 in Cameron, Texas to Elmore and Beulah (Story) Gann. He married his wife of 69 years, Lola Laura Zieschang on March 27, 1943 in Lampasas, Texas. He lived in Cameron for over 50 years, retired from the City of Cameron and was a farmer. Mr. Gann loved to fish and was a member of The Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack and Edward Gann and a sister, Nell Hall.

Sons: David Gann & wife Erna; Billy Gann & wife Joyce and Richard Gann, all of Cameron

Brother: Damon Gann of Hedrick, OK and Donald Gann of Hawley, TX

Sister: Ruth Doughtry of California

Visitation was held on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
