Dale Charles Marek

Dale Charles Marek, 47, of Rosebud, died Sunday, March 18, 2012 in a Temple Hospital. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church in Rosebud. Rev. Wayne Stork officiating. Burial will follow in Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud.
Mr. Marek was born December 26, 1964 in Marlin to Rudy and Virginia Mears Marek. He lived in Rosebud most of his life. He graduated from Rosebud-Lott High School in 1982 and from TSTI in Waco. He married Brenda Marsan on December 15, 2010. He worked as a supervisor for the Temple area of the Bell County Tax Appraisal office. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Rosebud.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Marek.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Marek of Rosebud.
Two Daughters: Audrianna Marek of Waco and Amber Nora of Temple
His Father: Rudy Marek of Rosebud.
5 Step sons: Anthony Wilson of Houston, Allyn Robertson of College Station, Marc Robertson of Savannah, GA, Kenny Mullins and Brian Mullins both of Kerrville.
Two Step Daughters: Anna Schneider of Little River-Academy, and Michelle Alexander of Killeen
One Brother: Dave Marek of Four Oaks, NC
Two Sisters; Pattie Marek and Sherrie Bishop both of Rosebud
Five Grandchildren: Gracie, Hannah, Bevan, Adrianna and Gabrialla
He loved to go fishing with his nephews Bradley and Justin Bishop. Other nephews and nieces include: Michael Marek, Matthew Marek, Ashley Bishop, and Jacob Garcia.
Memorials May me made to the American Heart Association.
Visitation was held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home.
