Lela Mae Stribling

Lela Mae Stribling, 90, of Arlington, formerly of Rosebud, died Sunday, March 4, 2012 at her residence. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Larry Boone officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery in Rosebud.
Mrs. Stribling was born August 5, 1921 in Briary to Onnie and Letha Pearl Gee Fikes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Stribling and brothers and sisters, Elby, Troy, Garland, Larry and Doug Fikes, and Faye Looney and Inez Wiese.
She is survived by One son: Gene Stribling and wife Dusty of Waco
Two Daughters: Jeannette Tyk of Arlington and Pam Godsey and husband Kenneth of Dallas
Three Sisters: LaVerne Vittek of Belton, Diane Yount of Winnsboro, and Grace Luedke of Frisco
6 Grandchildren: Wade Tyk, Steven Tyk, Mindy Stribling, Clint Webb, Elizabeth Godsey, and Jonathon Godsey.
One Great Grandchild: Kaitlyn Tyk
Two Sisters in law: Marie Fikes and Elaine Fikes both of Rosebud.
Vistiation was held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
