Miles Wesley Shaunfield, 60, of Rosebud, died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at his residence. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Larry Boone officiating. Burial followed in Woodland Cemetery in Rosebud.
Mr. Shaunfield was born March 2, 1951 in Houston to Enoch W. and Melba Corbello Shaunfield. He graduated from Marlin High School and attended Sam Houston State University. He lived in Rosebud the past 13 years. He worked in the Oil Field Industry, and in computer science. He was a former City Manager for the cities of Marlin and Rosebud. He was a licensed gunsmith and was the owner of Fort Milam Armory in Rosebud.
He is survived by two sons: Christopher Shaunfield of Conroe and Mylan Shaunfield of San Antonio.
Two Brothers: Benny Shaunfield of Jewett and Randy Shaunfield of Rosebud.
Two Grandchildren: River Shaunfield and Jackson Shaunfield.
Visitation was held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
