Funeral Services for Mrs. Elaine Deliman Perrin, age 92, of Cameron, were held on Fri., Jan. 21, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Cameron with Dr. Larry Heimsoth officiating. Entombment followed at St. Monica’s Cemetery in Cameron. Mrs. Perrin died on Jan. 16, 2011 in a Dripping Springs nursing facility.
Mrs. Perrin was born Dec. 16, 1918 in Girard, Pennsylvania to John and Mari (Ondilla) Deliman. She graduated from Sheffield High School in 1937, and from St. Vincent School of Nursing in Erie, Pennsylvania in 1940. Elaine served in the North African Campaign and the European Theater from 1943 to 1945. She also served in the Japan Occupation from 1946 to 1948 attaining the rank of Captain, during WWII and was in the Army Nurse Corp. She was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church, St. Monica’s Ladies Society, Central Texas Hospital Auxiliary, Cameron History Club, Cameron V.F.W. and the American Legion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. E. Douglas Perrin in 1996, five brothers and three sisters.

Family Visitation was held on Thurs. Jan. 20, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
